Committed to making a better world

We are Northern Indiana DSA, a socialist organization working in Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties. Join us and together we can make the world a better place for workers, and for the poor and oppressed.

October Recap

In October, we had members attend two different protest events in South Bend, the first being a rally for Gaza on October 4th organized by Michiana Friends of Palestine, and the second being “No Kings” day on October 18th. We had members give speeches and pass out homemade zines to the public on the problem of Capitalism and the solution of Socialism. On the 12th, we met for a screening of Spike Lee's biographical drama, Malcolm X. Following our monthly meeting on the third Saturday, members attended a Firearm Safety Training organized by our Community Care Committee. Lastly, research team members have also been hard at work on finalizing the draft for our Sanctuary City Bill, to be announced at an upcoming community potluck in November.
